==Walkthrough==
*Trade [[:Category:Crystals|crystals]] to a Conquest NPC to unlock this mission, then proceed to a [[San d'Oria Gate Guard]] to start it.

*Head to [[Chateau d'Oraguille]] and check the Great Hall for a cutscene.

*Speak with [[Rahal]] ({{Location Tooltip|area=Chateau d'Oraguille|pos=H-9}}) to receive the {{KeyItem}} [[Crystal Dowser]] and further instructions.

===Temple of Uggalepih===
*Head to the [[Temple of Uggalepih]] and farm a [[Prelate Key]] from the [[Tonberry Stabber]]s (Map 3/4).
** Alternatively you may farm [[Tonberry Chopper]]s in the [[Yhoator Jungle]] or [[Tonberry Slasher]]s in the [[Den of Rancor]].
**You can bypass the key by pulling a mob from behind the door. The door will open once the mob walks into the door.

*Make your way through the Temple until you reach the door at {{Location Tooltip|area=Temple of Uggalepih|pos=I-10|map=Map 2}}, that can only be opened by killing the [[Temple Guardian]].
**The guardian will not be there and the door will be open if someone has defeated it in the last 15 minutes.

*From west to east, go through the first, third, and fourth doors in the hall, checking the '''???''' in each.
**Each '''???''' will provide a [[Piece of a Broken Key]].
**Each player in the party must obtain the three [[Piece of a Broken Key]] in order to complete the final cutscene.

*After you have all three keys, select the second door to spawn two Doll NMs: [[Nio-Hum]] and [[Nio-A]].
**Both have around 6500HP, do regular Doll attacks, and cannot be slept.
**You may pull one at a time if [[Sneak]] is activated before spawning.
**The dolls are aggressive to magic so you may not pull with magic.

*After the dolls have been defeated, check the door again for a cutscene.

*Return to [[Chateau d'Oraguille]] and check the Great Hall door for a cutscene.
**You will be awarded Rank 9 and 80,000 gil.

==Walkthrough==

*Trade 16~24 [[:Category:Crystals|crystals]] to a Conquest NPC to unlock this mission, then speak with a [[San d'Oria Gate Guard]], who will instruct you to go to the garden in the Chateau.

*Head for the {{Location|Chateau d'Oraguille|F-7}} and go towards (F-7). You will receive a cutscene.

*Speak to the Gate Guard to receive the mission.

===BCNM Fight===
*Gather a party and head for [[Horlais Peak]]. Only people who are on 7-2 or have completed it may enter. It is recommended that you bring a BLM and/or a BRD for sleeping the mobs.

*Get ready and enter the BC. The fight is against 3 [[Orc]]s and 2 [[Orcish Warmachines]]:
**[[Darokbok of Clan Reaper]] (Level 68, [[PLD]])
**[[Derakbak of Clan Wolf]] (Level 68, [[DRG]])
**[[Jagidbod of Clan Reaper]] (Level 68, [[RNG]])
**[[Wolf Clan Warmachine]]
**[[Reaper Clan Warmachine]]

*Open the fight with [[Elemental Seal]] + [[Sleepga II]]. (Sheepsong worked with Melodia as well) Fight the Warmachines first, then the Paladin, the Dragoon and Wyvern, and the Ranger last. A Melee/NIN can pretty easily solo any of the NMs. Prioritize the Warmachines.
**(2025-Nov-22) Soloed it as 75 BST/NIN with [[Reraise]]. Kill order is Warmachines, RNG, DRG, Dragoon pet, PLD. They don't aggro on sight, so initiate by sending sheep to one of the Warmachines, use [[Sheep Song]] and keep using [[Sheep Song]] as they wake up. Sic merits help. At some point sheep will die. You can try recovering from that by using [[Sheep Song]] + [[Reward]], but you will probably die anyways. Just reraise (they won't aggro even if in range), heal up and use the same strategy to kill the remaining. Focusing on PLD first is a bad idea because you want to reduce number of enemies as fast as possible. PLD will use [[Invincible]] and you will get in trouble as they build resistance to [[Sheep Song]] over time.

*When finished, you'll receive another cutscene, and receive the [[Crystal Dowser]].

*Head back to [[San d'Oria]] and speak to any Gate Guard to finish the mission.

==Walkthrough==
*Trade 22~23 crystals to any [[Conquest Overseer]] to unlock the mission then accept it from any [[Windurst Gate Guard]].
===Meeting the Ministry Leaders===
*Talk to [[Apururu]] at {{Location|Windurst Woods|H-9}} inside the [[Manustery]] for a cutscene after which you will obtain the {{KeyItem}}[[Manustery Ring]].

*You can talk to the following three [[NPC]]s in any order to receive a cutscene and a key item.
#[[Rukususu]] at {{Location|Fei'Yin|map=Map 2|F-6}}. Click the Cermet Door for a cutscene and the {{KeyItem}}[[Rhinostery Ring]].
#[[Sedal-Godjal]] at {{Location|Davoi|J-8}}. You will receive a cutscene and obtain the {{KeyItem}}[[Aurastery Ring]]. ''Note: He can only be reached by going through [[Monastic Cavern]]. Enter [[Monastic Cavern]] from entrance 2 at {{Location|Davoi|H-11}}, proceed through [[Monastic Cavern]] and enter [[Davoi]] exit 4 at {{Location|Monastic Cavern|I-8}}.''
#[[Tosuka-Porika]] at {{Location|Windurst Waters|map=North|G-8}} inside the eastern building of the [[Optistery]]. You will receive a cutscene and obtain the {{KeyItem}}[[Optistery Ring]].

*Return to [[Apururu]] at {{Location|Windurst Woods|H-9}} for dialogue regarding the final ring.
*Talk to [[Kupipi]] in [[Heavens Tower]] for a cutscene.

===Horutoto Ruins===
*Enter the ''Amaryllis Tower'' of [[Outer Horutoto Ruins]] from {{Location |West Sarutabaruta|F-4}}.
**The [[West Sarutabaruta]] [[Outpost]] is close to the entrance.
*Go through the ''Cracked Wall'' at {{Position|Outer Horutoto Ruins|map=Amaryllis Tower 1|I-6}}.
*On the next map, find the ''Cracked Wall'' at {{Position|Outer Horutoto Ruins|map=Amaryllis Tower 2|G-8}}. Touching it will pop [[Queen of Coins (Monster)|Queen of Coins]] (RDM) and [[Queen of Swords (Monster)|Queen of Swords]] (PLD).
**You can [[Sneak]] Pull and fight one at a time.
**You can let one despawn before killing the one you [[Sneak]] pull.
**Both Cardians are immune to [[Sleep]] and [[Silence]], but are susceptible to other debuffs.

===Gate of Darkness===
*After the Cardian Queens' fight, return to [[Apururu]] at {{Location|Windurst Woods|H-9}} for a cutscene.
*Talk to [[Shantotto]] at {{Location|Windurst Walls|K-7}} for a cutscene and to obtain the {{KeyItem}}[[Glove of Perpetual Twilight]].
**You may need to speak to [[Shantotto]] multiple times for the correct cutscene.
*Return to [[Apururu]] at {{Location|Windurst Woods|H-9}} for a cutscene (again).

*Next, you need to go to the ''Gate of Darkness'' inside the ''Rose Tower'' of the [[Inner Horutoto Ruins]].
**If you possess the {{KeyItem}}[[Portal Charm]] or are in a party with a [[Black Mage]], a [[Red Mage]] and a [[White Mage]], you can enter the ''Lily Tower'' at {{Location|East Sarutabaruta|J-7}}. A quick way to get to ''Lili Tower'', is entering ''Rose Tower'' at {{Location|West Sarutabaruta|J-8}} and using [[Escape]].
**If you possess the {{KeyItem}}[[Rhinostery Certificate]], you can travel through [[Toraimarai Canal]] by passing through the ''Priming Gate'' at {{Location|Windurst Walls|H-3}}.
*Proceed to the ''Gate of Darkness'' at {{Location|Inner Horutoto Ruins|map=Rose Tower 2|I-7}} for a cutscene.
*Return to [[Apururu]] at {{Location|Windurst Woods|H-9}} for a cutscene that completes the mission.
