** PLEASE NOTE: There are at least two other cutscenes involved with this [[???]] that have nothing to do with this mission. If you get a cutscene here that does not include [[Tenzen]], then you have gotten the wrong one (it was a cutscene to start the quest [[Waking the Beast]]) and are not ready to continue. Click on the [[???]] again until you get the proper cutscene that includes [[Tenzen]].

=== 5-3T1: Spiral ===
*Enter [[Pso'Xja]] from the tower at ({{Location Tooltip | area = Beaucedine Glacier | pos = J-8}}) in Beaucedine Glacier - the tower closest to Fei'Yin. Inside this tower is not a maze, but rather a gauntlet of enemies and force-spawned monsters.
*This section of [[Pso'Xja]] has a level cap of 50.
*In this tower you will encounter sixteen stone doors.
*In order to pass through each of these doors you must fight a doll NM [[Gargoyle (NM)|Gargoyle]], after defeating it you must run through the stone door within a brief period of time (approximately 30 seconds). Everyone '''must''' pass through the door before it closes, else they will be stuck. Touching the doors from behind will warp them out of the tower. Clicking on the next door springs a trap and spawns the [[Gargoyle (NM)|Gargoyle]].
*[[Gargoyle (NM)|Gargoyle]] mobs become progressively more and more difficult, take this into account between sections.
**Their max HP and attack power increase with each version.
*The sixteen doors are split into four sections.
**The first set has only [[Maze Lizard]]s, which don't aggro.

If someone gets left behind one room you can Provoke the Golem through the wall as well to clear the door for them.

==Walkthrough==
*Trade [[:Category:Crystals|crystals]] to the Conquest NPC to unlock this mission. Speaking to the [[San d'Oria Gate Guard]], you'll be instructed to go see [[Prince Trion]].

*Visit [[Prince Trion]] in his room in {{Location|Chateau d'Oraguille|H-7}}.

===NM Fight===
*After a cutscene, gather a party and head for ({{Location Tooltip|area=King Ranperre's Tomb|pos=H-8}}) in [[King Ranperre's Tomb]], on the first map. When ready, check the Heavy Stone Door. Sneak pop method doesn't work 
** April 18, 2026: NMs did not aggro when using the Sneak pop method.

*Three Skeleton NMs will pop - [[Corrupted Soffeil]], [[Corrupted Yorgos]] and [[Corrupted Ulbrig]]. Yorgos is a [[Warrior]], the other two are [[Black Mage]]s.

*Your main target is [[Corrupted Yorgos]]. This fight is made easier by pulling this NM, and allowing the other two to depop, and then finally killing Yorgos.
**The NMs are immune to [[Sleep]] and [[Foe Lullaby|Lullaby]] but not [[Sheep Song]]. March 15, 2025 - The NMs are NOT immune to lullaby.
**They will use [[Blood Saber]], so keep damage negating buffs up to reduce the HP regained.
**[[Corrupted Yorgos]] has approximately 7250 HP.

*When defeated, check the Heavy Stone Door again, and enter. Check the Tombstone inside for a cutscene, at the end of which, you'll receive the [[Ancient San d'Orian Book]].

===San d'Oria===
*'''Optional:''' Return to [[Prince Trion]], and you will be instructed to go see the Gate Guard.

*Talk to any Gate Guard. The guard will tell you that it will take some time to decipher.

*Zone and talk to the guard again who will tell you to see Prince Trion (you may need to talk to him twice).

*Speak with [[Prince Trion]] again.

*Return to the Heavy Stone Door again for another cutscene.

*Return to a Gate Guard to complete the mission.
