}}

Walkthrough
* Zone into Lower Delkfutt's Tower for a cutscene.

* Once inside Delkfutt's Tower, if you are using a Delkfutt Key, make a left at the first fork and go to () staying on the lower level. Click the Cermet Door and go downstairs. Follow the path to the next Cermet Door () Then go to () and search for a ???.

* Click it and you'll be transported to Upper Delkfutt's Tower.

* In Upper Delkfutt's Tower, go to () through the door. Head up the stairs to the 11th floor.

: Remember to sneak/invisible as you can get aggro from bats and giants. Watch out for dolls and pots that aggro to magic.
:* On the 11th floor, go to () to the stairs that lead to the 12th floor.
:* On the 12th floor, go to ().
:* Go through the portal to Stellar Fulcrum. You will receive a cutscene.

BCNM Fight
:* Fight and kill Kam'lanaut.
:* Kam'lanaut casts Dispelga, Silencega, and Slowga. Slowga takes priority over Haste.
:* His Elemental Blade ability gives him an En-Spell of that element and absorbs all damage of that element. He uses the ability often and changes the element.
:: For example, if he has Lightning Blade up, and you cast Thunder IV on him, he will gain 1,300 HP instead of losing it.
:* Uses Great Wheel (~200 damage AOE and Hate Reset).
:* Uses Light Blade (700-1,200 physical damage, single target). Can be absorbed by Utsusemi.
:* Kam'lanaut is immune to Silence and Sleep.
:* Has about 10,000 HP

** Following the fight you will receive a cutscene.

Walkthrough
Option 1 (Requires Jeuno Reputation 3)
*Speak to Ghebi Damomohe at Lower Jeuno behind the counter of the Neptune's Spire. Select the third, blank line of dialogue. Ghebi says that you need either a Tenshodo Invite or a KeyItemTenshodo Application Form.
**This step requires 3 Jeuno Fame. Trading 5 or fewer stacks of La Theine Cabbage in the quest Only the Best will suffice.
*Head to Port Bastok and into Warehouse #2 across from the Air Travel Agency.
*Once inside, talk to Jabbar or Silver Owl to receive a KeyItemTenshodo Application Form.
*Return to Ghebi Damomohe at Lower Jeuno in the Neptune's Spire. She will take the KeyItemTenshodo Application Form and in return give you a Tenshodo Invite and KeyItemTenshodo Member's Card, completing the quest.

Option 2 (Does Not Require Jeuno Reputation)
*Buy/trade for a Tenshodo Invite. Return to Ghebi Damomohe in Neptune's Spire. Giving Ghebi Damomohe the Tenshodo Invite grants you a second Tenshodo Invite and KeyItemTenshodo Member's Card, completing the quest.

Notes
*The fame requirement is only to start this quest by speaking to the NPC behind the counter. If you can't start the quest by talking to the NPC, just buy the invite from the AH and trade it to her. This completes the quest instantly, even if you do not meet the fame requirement to start the quest. You'll get another invite in exchange. (NOTE: This is confirmed to NO LONGER WORK after Rebase. You need fame.)

__NOTOC__

The hobby of gardening is the tending and nurturing of plants. In Final Fantasy XI, gardening provides players and crafters another way to make money through harvesting plants they grow, and obtaining materials, respectively.

To make a garden, you need a few things:
*A Moogle
*A Flowerpot
*A Seeds
*A Crystal

Moogle
This guy is Mog. He'll look after your plants for you, free of charge. If flowerpots are placed inside of your Mog House and you plant some seeds, he will do most of the work! All that he asks of you is to 'check' on your plants once per Earth day. To do this, select the 'examine' option within the 'gardening' tab when speaking to Mog. Failure to do so may result in your plants wilting and dying. Well, Mog can only do so much by himself, after all!

Flowerpots
There are 6 types of flowerpots available:

Vendor Bought:
*Brass Flowerpot
*Ceramic Flowerpot
*Earthen Flowerpot

Crafted:
*Porcelain Flowerpot

Quested:
*Arcane Flowerpot
*Wooden Flowerpot

As an aspiring gardener, you will be looking to begin with the vendor-bought pots. Each can be purchased in their coinciding starter city. Brass can be bought in Bastok, Ceramic can be bought in San d'Oria, and Earthen can be bought in Windurst. Once purchased, place them inside of your mog house like you would place a piece of furniture. This can be done via the 'layout' option when speaking to Mog.

You may have a maximum of 10 flowerpots in your mog house. You may also have a maximum of 3 characters gardening at one time, for a total of 30 flowerpots.

Seeds
There are 2 types of seeds available:

Flowering Plants
*Grain Seeds
*Vegetable Seeds
*Herb Seeds
*Wildgrass Seeds

Trees
*Fruit Seeds
*Tree Cuttings
*Tree Saplings
*Cactus Stems

Seeds can be acquired in several ways: farming, vendor bought, gardening itself, logging, or from the auction house. Once you have your seeds, place them into your Mog Safe (both 1 and 2 work) and then you can plant them via the 'gardening' option when you speak to Mog.

The different seed types take different lengths of time to harvest. Flowering plants typically take up to a week. Trees can take as long as 3 weeks. Each seed will yield different results so research them before you begin gardening. Oh, and don't worry about how 10 trees are going to fit into your mog house, Mog keeps them well pruned.

Crystals
The last element to gardening is crystals. Mid-way through a harvest cycle, upon examining your plants, Mog will point out that 'they aren't doing very well'. At this stage you will be given the option to 'Feed a Crystal'. Feed each pot a crystal (or don't!) and they magically perk back up. They take a little longer to 'perk up' when no crystal is fed but don't worry, they will not die.

Flowering plants only require a single crystal per harvest cycle whereas trees will require 2. Each seed will have a different yield depending on which crystal has been given. Again, make sure you do some research prior to feeding to ensure you receive the desired yield.

The Process
So you have your flowerpots in your mog house, you've planted your seeds, and you have a stack of crystals waiting to be fed. Now what? Well, nothing really. That is the beauty of gardening! All that is required of you now is to 'examine' your plants at least once per Earth day, feed a crystal when required, and at the end of the cycle, harvest. Who said money doesn't grow on trees!

Plants will be ready to harvest when they 'emit a pleasant glow'. It's impossible to miss it. Make sure you have room in at least one of your mog safes as this will be where yielded results wind up. And that is it. Plant more seeds and begin the harvest cycle once more.

Recipes
Here is a recipe list for each of the different types of seeds. Please bear in mind that each list is a work in progress and some recipes are not currently implemented on Horizon. The second link contains the information mined from ASB.

*Flowers wilted
So you forgot about your flowers or you were unable to check on them and they have all wilted? Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done to save them. All that can be done is for you to 'empty the pots' and try again.

*Place flowerpots on a table
Quite simply as it says. By placing a table (and I recommend Maple as they're dirt cheap) and placing your flowerpots on top of it, you will decrease the chance that your plants wilt and die.

*Drying out flowers
This option will appear a day or two into your harvest cycle and persists until you harvest them. Selecting it will freeze the chosen plant in its current state. It freezes 1 plant at a time, so don't worry about freezing your whole harvest. Even once fronzen, you may still empty the pot of its contents if you wish. 'Drying out' is used if you would like to turn a plant into a mog house decoration.

*Moghancement: Gardening
Certain furnishings when placed into your mog house will give a Moghancement. This particular enhancement will reduce the chances that your flowers will wilt. How strong this effect is still requires further testing.

*Moon Phase
There is no documented evidence that the moon phase will affect yield results. However, on Horizon, we "play and find out". No conclusive testing has currently been carried out but there is nothing stopping you from trying yourself. It was believed in era that harvesting plants on a full moon would increase yields sizes. Whilst it may not sound like much, the potential benefits are huge. For example, gardening for elemental ores could potentially see yields double from 1 to 2 and vastly increase gil returns.

*How to increase yield sizes
During the retail era, it was often speculated that there were many contributing factors to increasing the amount yielded come harvest time. Factors such as the day seeds are planted on, the day crystals are fed on and equipping the Field Tunica Set whilst harvesting are just some that may have an affect. Again, it is suggested that some of these elements may have an affect, however, there is a lack of testing to prove conclusively one way or another. There is no harm in trying these methods and seeing for yourself if they do indeed work.

__NOTOC__

Chocobo Digging is a hobby in FFXI where adventurers use Gysahl Greens to coerce chocobos into digging up items. To participate, an adventurer should make sure they have Gysahl Greens in their inventory, be riding a chocobo in an eligible area, and use either the /dig command or dig from the sub-menu.

A chocobo must move a minimum of 2 yalms in any direction between digs and wait 16 seconds before being able to dig again. This delay reduces as your digging rank increases. When entering a zone, there is a 60-second cooldown before being able to dig. This cooldown decreases by 5 seconds per rank. Until rank-ups are gained there is a 100 item per real life day limit in effect. Each rank-up grants an additional 10 items per day.

Finally, each zone has a shared item pool with a limited amount of items available to all diggers. Once this pool is empty, no further items may be dug up until the next Vana'diel day.

Skilling-Up
<div class="flex-container">
<div class="flex-container-item-2">
Digging on Horizon differs from retail Final Fantasy XI in that players can expect to receive skill-up messages in their log. This makes it easier for adventurers to track their digging progress. At this time, there is no option within the menus to view what the adventurer's skill is, however, it can be viewed on the official Horizon website. An adventurer may receive skill-ups from ALL digging attempts, regardless of their success. No skill-ups may be gained by digging in an area with an empty pool of items.

Ranking up follows the same pattern as crafting ie the 'amateur' rank is followed by the 'recruit' rank once level 10 is achieved. Upon ranking up, adventurers will notice 3 digging improvements: the daily item limit is increased by 10, the delay between digs decreases, and the zone delay before digging can begin is reduced. Please see the table to the right for a breakdown. Any rank with a verification tag is awaiting verification but can generally be assumed to be correct, judging from other player reports on Discord.

The final and less noticeable digging improvement is an increase in dig accuracy. This increase isn't obviously noticeable due to it only being minor, and other factors can affect it too (see moon phase below). However, the higher the level of the digger, the more visible the increase will become.

Equipment
Whilst chocobo digging requires the use of no equipment, there are several items which adventurers may wish to use to enhance the hobby.
* Chocobo Jack Coat Set - Set increases riding time by 15 minutes.
* Rider's Jack Coat Set - HQ of above. Set increases riding time by 15 minutes. The only difference is the increased DEF and Level Requirement to use the set, similar to the Field Tunica Set / Worker Tunica Set.

Moon Phase
The current Moon Phase plays a significant role in the accuracy of your chocobo's digging. As a rule of thumb, the closer the phase is to 50%, the lower your accuracy will be. The current moon phase can be checked by using the command /clock.

Generally, adventurers looking to make the most profit will dig during a full/new moon as their accuracy will be at its highest. Adventurers who are looking to acheive the most amount of skill-ups before they hit their daily limit will prefer to dig as close to 50% as possible. Lower accuracy results in more dig attempts and thus more chance of skill-ups.

Elemental Ores
Elemental ores are rare, highly sought after items which can be found in digging pools. For reported success rates, see the table below. There are several conditions that must be met before they may be found within an area's pool:
<div class="flex-container">
<div class="flex-container-item-2">
* The adventurer must have attained at least the "Craftsman" digging rank (rank 6).
* The moon phase must be in "Waxing Crescent" and between approximately 7%-24%.
* There must be an active weather in effect in the area. Foggy weather is also considered an active weather effect.
* The zone is not a Rise of the Zilart area.
</div>
<div class="flex-container-item-2">
Dig Attempts
Ores Found
style="text-align: center";| 1120
style="text-align: center";| 5 <!--please add your data to these figures -->
</div></div>

When these conditions are met elemental ores may be dug up. The type of ore found will correspond with the current day of the week eg. only fire ores will be found on Firesday, earth ores on earthsday, and so on.

Further Information
HorizonXI's chocobo digging largely follows the ASB code which can be found here, although how accurately is unknown at this time (due to Horizon being closed source). Some key differences are known, such as changes to item pools which are documented on this page. This page has been written to reflect how adventurers can find the digging on the server and the ASB link should be used as a reference only.

Item Pools
Each area has its own unique pool of items that can be dug up. These pools are shared amongst all adventurers and once empty, no further items may be dug on that particular in-game day. They refresh at the start of a new Vana'diel day (00:00), at which point items may be dug up once again.

Diggers can also expect to find crystals and crystal clusters whilst digging in areas with active weather in place. Single weather equates to crystals whereas double weather equates to clusters.

See below for a list of each diggable area and its pool of items. All abundance data listed has been collected on HorizonXI.
