# Speak with [[Balakaf]] on the second floor of [[Port Ephramad]] at {{Location Tooltip|area=Aht Urhgan Whitegate|map=Map 1|pos=I-5|text=I-5|id=five-seconds-balakaf}}.
# After completing the lost-gold portion of [[Get the Picture]], Balakaf gives you the {{KeyItem}}[[Photopticator]] and asks you to investigate five incidents around [[Aht Urhgan Whitegate]].
# The five cases may be completed in any order.

===Recording Rules===
* Return to Balakaf immediately after recording a scene.
** Recording another scene before Balakaf reviews the stored footage erases the previous recording.
* Each staged incident can occur once per Vana'diel day.
** The five cases are independent, so different cases may be completed during the same Vana'diel day when their time windows permit.
* If Balakaf rejects the footage as blurry, change zones before attempting that same case again.
** A different case may be attempted without waiting for the failed case to reset.
* Speaking with a recording NPC outside the required time can prevent the correct cutscene from playing later that day.
** Change zones before speaking with the NPC again during the correct window.

===A Pickpocket's Paradise===
