# Complete [[Puppet in Peril]]; this mission begins during its victory cutscene in [[Jade Sepulcher]].
#* Speaking with [[Naja Salaheem]] afterward provides additional dialogue but is not required for progression.
# Enter [[Arrapago Reef]] from any entrance for a cutscene.
#* The most direct route is to use a [[Runic Portal Use Permit]] to reach the [[Dvucca Isle Staging Point]] at {{Location Tooltip|area=Caedarva Mire|map=Map 2|pos=I-9|text=Caedarva Mire, Map 2 (I-9)|id=prevalence-of-pirates-dvucca}}.
#* From the staging point, travel west to the Arrapago Reef entrance at {{Location Tooltip|area=Caedarva Mire|map=Map 2|pos=F-9|pos 2=G-9|text=Map 2 (F-9/G-9)|id=prevalence-of-pirates-arrapago-entrance}}.
#* Other Arrapago Reef entrances and direct Survival Guide travel also trigger the initial cutscene.
