# Complete [[Sentinels' Honor]]; this mission begins during its ending cutscene with [[Naja Salaheem]].
#* Speaking with Naja again provides additional mission dialogue but is not required for progression.
# Ensure you possess the {{KeyItem}} [[Ephramadian Gold Coin]].
#* If you no longer possess one, examine [[Jazaraat's Headstone]] at {{Location Tooltip|area=Caedarva Mire|map=Map 1|pos=E-10|text=Caedarva Mire (E-10)|id=testing-the-waters-gold-coin}} to obtain another.
# Travel to the [[Cutter]] in [[Arrapago Reef]].
#* A direct route is to use a [[Runic Portal Use Permit]] to reach the [[Dvucca Isle Staging Point]] at {{Location Tooltip|area=Caedarva Mire|map=Map 2|pos=I-9|text=Caedarva Mire, Map 2 (I-9)|id=testing-the-waters-dvucca}}.
#* From the staging point, travel west to the Arrapago Reef entrance at {{Location Tooltip|area=Caedarva Mire|map=Map 2|pos=F-9|pos 2=G-9|text=Map 2 (F-9/G-9)|id=testing-the-waters-arrapago-entrance}}.

# When asked whether you wish passage to the Black Coffin, select "I do."
#* Selecting "Not at this time" does not advance the mission. Zone before approaching the Cutter again.
# Continue through the resulting cutscenes and transfer to [[Talacca Cove]].
# The Talacca Cove cutscene consumes the {{KeyItem}} [[Ephramadian Gold Coin]], completes the mission, grants the {{KeyItem}} [[Percipient Eye]], awards the title "Treasure Trove Tender," and begins [[Legacy of the Lost]].
