JOB BALANCING

Ninja

Ninjutsu Elemental Wheel As stated in previous patch notes, 15 magic accuracy was added to all Ninjutsu magic spells.

In this patch, an additional 10 magic accuracy has been added to all Ninjutsu elemental wheel spells. This results in Ninjutsu elemental wheel spells receiving a total of +25 magic accuracy. This affects:

  * Hyoton: Ichi + Ni (and later San)
  * Katon: Ichi + Ni (and later San)
  * Suiton: Ichi + Ni (and later San)
  * Raiton: Ichi + Ni (and later San)
  * Doton: Ichi + Ni (and later San)
  * Huton: Ichi + Ni (and later San)
  * Hyoton: Ichi + Ni (and later San)

Yonin

The Ninja job ability “Yonin” has received the following adjustments:

  * The recast time for Yonin is now 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
  * Yonin can no longer be dispelled.

Two Hour Ability: Mijin Gakure → Mikage

Mijin Gakure has been replaced with Mikage and reworked. Mikage now does the following:

  • Upon activation, the player will receive 4 Utsusemi Shadows.
  • Additionally, the player will receive a buff that lasts 30 seconds and allows for the casting of multiple copies of the same elemental Ninjutsu spell at once. The number of copies cast is based on the number of Utsusemi shadows remaining plus an additional copy for the player.
  * Example A: If a player activates Mikage and casts Katon: Ni with 4 Utsusemi shadows remaining, Katon: Ni will be cast 5 times on the monster. This is one copy for the player and four copies for the remaining Utsusemi shadows.
  * Example B: If a player activates Mikage and casts Katon: Ni with 2 Utsusemi shadows remaining, Katon: Ni will be cast 3 times on the monster. This is one copy for the player and two copies for the remaining Utsusemi shadows.

Warrior

The increased shield block rate provided by the Warrior job ability “Defender” now only applies when Warrior is the player’s main job.

Red Mage

The recast time of the spells “Haste” and “Refresh” have been decreased by 2 seconds each.

White Mage

The recast time of the spell “Haste” has been decreased by 2 seconds.

Beastmaster

Bestial Loyalty

The job ability “Bestial Loyalty” has been removed. After monitoring the server since launch, the decision was made to remove Bestial Loyalty because we do not believe it is a good fit for the balance of Horizon in its current era. We plan to engage in a rework of the Beastmaster job in Patch 1.2. Please stay tuned for future details.

Amigo Sabotender

The Jug of Sun Water and Amigo Sabotender have returned to their normal era states

Charm Fixes

Charmed pets will now attack their master when uncharming. This should also prevent charmed monsters from despawning when charm duration expires.

Samurai

Corrected the FTPs for the weaponskill Tachi: Jinpu to its correct retail formula.

Summoner

The follow bug fixes have been corrected for Summoner:

  • Corrected Blood Pacts Predator Claws and Shock strike to have the proper amount of minimum crit rate of 5%.
  • Fixes a bug causing Diabolos' Somnolence to deal no damage and apply no weight.
  • Fixes an issue where the difference in INT calculations were returning values > 0 for Netherblast for Diabolos.
  • dStat will now properly be calculated for all BPs.
  • Fixes an issue causing Avatars to have the wrong Subjob level.
  • Fixes an issue with Perfect Dodge and Wyrms in flight causing all SMN BPs to deal zero damage.

Paladin

The Paladin spell “Enlight” no longer grants +10 enmity while the spell is active. The Paladin spell “Enlight” grants +10 enmity while the spell is active. This effect does not stack if casted multiple times in secession.

Dragoon

The following adjustments have been made to DRG specific weapon skills:

  • The TP Multiplier (“ƒTP”) for the polearm weapon skill “Wheeling Thrust” has been increased.

COMBAT

  • The Sword weapon skill “Vorpal Blade” has been reverted from "Accuracy varies with TP" back to "Chance of critical varies with TP."
  • The Dagger weapon skills “Wasp Sting” and “Viper Bite” have had their formulas adjusted. Wasp Sting still remains much stronger on HorizonXI than it was in era, but the adjustments make Viper Bite scale better than Wasp Sting at higher levels. This is to provide a better sense of weapon skill progression for the Dagger weapon as players level up.
