Walkthrough
- Talk to Unlucky Rat inside the Cermet Refinery of Bastok's Metalworks. He muses about how to oil the machine, but does not ask you for anything specific.
- Obtain a Slime Oil from one of the mobs in the Slime family that drop it, or purchase it from the Auction House.
- Tip: Slime Oil can be found off of the Jelly slimes from Korroloka Tunnel.
- For a low level, but distant, option, Oil Slick slimes can drop Slime Oil. Oil Slicks are found in Ranguemont Pass, near East Ronfaure.
- Trade the Slime Oil to Unlucky Rat to complete the quest.
