- Just checked in a dunes party, casted dia after someone applied bio to the target. After a while received the message that bio wore off. So no, they don't overwrite each other. It's either not working as intended or the statement is just wrong, at least for dia I and bio I.

The official update notes from SE in 2019 state an increase to the damage down effect from 5% to 10%, probably rounding the numbers. 27/512 (5.27%) is what the internet says, e.g. [https://ffxiclopedia.fandom.com/wiki/Bio?direction=next&oldid=219325 ffxiclopedia bio page revision from 2007] but I couldn't find a source for that.
