Walkthrough

  • Portaure wants you to help him smuggle some goods into Jeuno. If you accept the quest, you'll obtain the temporary key item: Brugaire Goods. He will suggest trying to go at night.
  • Take the Airship to Jeuno and pass through customs.
  • Passing through and clearing Jeuno customs is required to complete this quest. You may travel there by any method you choose, but you have to pass through customs in Port Jeuno by entering through San'doria arrivals. Paying to enter departures and immediately re-entering via arrivals for the check is acceptable.
  • If you pass through customs successfully, you will receive the message "You have cleared customs."
  • If you try to pass customs during the day there is a chance you will be caught.
  • If the player goes between the hours of 18:00 and 6:00 (Nighttime) they will not be caught.
  • If caught, customs will seize the Brugaire Goods and revoke your permissions to board flights in Jeuno until the next JST midnight. This only restricts you from boarding flights leaving Jeuno, not those departing from other areas. Return to Portaure after your privileges have been restored the next JST midnight to try again. He will not allow you to re-attempt the quest until this time passes.
  • Until you speak with Yin Pocanakhu or until the Brugaire Goods are confiscated, you will be checked by Port Jeuno customs each time you pass through arrivals from San d'Oria. This quest can fail as long as you have the Brugaire Goods, even if you cleared customs once before.
  • If you talk to Yin Pocanakhu without going through San'doria arrivals, she declares the goods damaged, failing the quest. You will have to try the quest again starting at Portaure. Getting the message "You have cleared customs." is required to succeed.
