Walkthrough
- As a level 50+ Black Mage, go to Heavens Tower in Windurst Walls and speak to Chumimi in the basement (Star Tree Farm).
- If you just completed The Three Magi, you must zone out of Heavens Tower before this will start (relogging also works).
- Note: After this step, you no longer need to be a Black Mage for the remainder of the quest.
- (Optional) Travel to Ru'Lude Gardens and speak with Laityn at (G-9) for an additional cutscene.
Crawlers' Nest
- Travel to Crawlers' Nest and defeat a Water Elemental or Fire Elemental to obtain a Bag of Seeds.
- These elementals are found in the basement "ring" area, accessed through the tunnel at Crawlers' Nest, Map 1 (J-10) (marked "B" on the player-made map).
- Best method: Use the Weather Forecast page to see when elemental weather is due.
- Rolanberry Fields shares weather with Crawlers' Nest, so either zone works for checking the forecast.
- Set Weather Type to Any Weather Type and Zone to Crawlers' Nest, then click Show Weather.
- The table shows the possible weather rolls for each window: Normal (50%)', Common (35%), Rare (15%). If you see water weather listed (e.g. Rain/Squalls or Fire/Heat Wave), that is the chance for that window.
- You can also ask Weather Reporter NPCs for quick in-game guidance, but the forecast page is usually faster and more precise.
- After obtaining the Bag of Seeds, return to Heavens Tower in Windurst Walls and trade it to Chumimi.
Castle Zvahl
- Go to Castle Zvahl Baileys and defeat Demon Commanders, Demon Generals, Demon Magistrates, or Demon Chancellors until you obtain a Whine Cellar Key.
- These enemies can be found on Castle Zvahl Baileys, Map 3 on the bottom floor near the corner drop-offs.
- Bring the key to Castle Zvahl Keep.
- Upon entering Castle Zvahl Keep, follow the right wall and enter the first Iron Bar Gate to the north at (H-7).
- Bear right and trade the key to the locked Ore Door on the left, before the next Iron Bar Gate.
- After the cutscene, you will obtain
Foe Finder Mark I. Return to Chumimi in Heavens Tower in Windurst Walls for your reward.
