The information in this walkthrough is not correct. I spent hours fishing back and forth between Selbina and Mhaura, without a single monster bite. I got the Bronze Box as a drop from one of the Sea Crabs that pop on the deck.

Thank you for your comment - I sightly edited the walkthrough. I am not so sure if the quest changed on Horizon or if both is possible. As this is not the most popular quest, I think we are missing proof. I could not fish up any monster as of now either but for me the other Crabs didn't drop it. Also to add to this, the drop rates show on ASB for both crab. I also tried multiple trips and lures using Ebisu Rod w/130 skill and no catch of any Mobs on normal trips. It brings to light that era wiki's state it was catch Mobs only (Ocean Crab) also implied in the Bronze Box discription being "sat on the ocean floor for many years. I believe it is a QoL Horizon change to make the mission easier to do for people starting out.--RedBAEren(talk) 2000, 19 April 2024

How to bronze box

I've been farming for 2 days straight, and found out a couple of pointers.

1 - killed at least 100 SEA CRAB never dropped (some people say it drop but i dont think so) 2 - When fishing for OCEAN CRAB, is better to use Clothespole but as a bait dont use "Lugworm" ill recommend "Little Worms" 3 - Dont bother fishing if there is a pirate invation, the crab wont spawn.

Bring 2 or 3 Clothespole they may break, also have patience it still takes a lot of time
