HorizonXI Specific

These steps taken may be softened or straight to account Ban dependant on the HorizonXI Staff as it is a Private Server and they will deal with actions differently than any other server or Retail would.
It has been reported that a HorizonXI Staff member being banned that no one, not even Staff are above the rules.
The HorizonXI Staff want to create the best possible environment for the server to be healthy and thrive for everyone to have a good experience. Please see their rules

Aerec's post about a Staff member being Banned:

All Bans are kept private between the staff and the person. That being said rumors will be heard and like Aerec has stated before in his Discord posted above to "keep all conversations civil and also be mindful of the Discord Rules":

Usage

Mordion Gaol is an area commonly used by HorizonXI Staff on a GM character as a "jail" to hold the characters of players who have demonstratively violated the HorizonXI Private Server Rules—thus becoming a possible danger to other Players and/or Server Quality of Life.

GMs may also use this room as a place to talk to players who have problems or who report violations.Verification Needed For players in this zone, all out-going messages can be restricted by the GM, including /tells, /linkshell, and /party.

Only a HorizonXI Staff GM may move a character into Mordion Gaol (usually accompanied by an animation-less teleport). No sort of teleportation available to the player—be it magic, items or equipment with teleportation enchantments—may be used to leave the area. Only a GM may remove a character from Mordion Gaol and teleport them somewhere else in the world (commonly, their Home Point).

When a character has arrived in Mordion Gaol, the GM may explain the violation committed. You will need to file a ticket on the HorizonXI Discord to go over the suspected violation with the GM team.

Severe or repeated violations will result in suspension; when a player is suspended, their character will remain held in this area for a period of Earth time that the GM staff determines appropriate. Multiple instances of misconduct leading to suspension here will result in the player's account banned from HorizonXI itself.

To the player, the area appears as a single large, square room, with an arch on the north wall leading into a shallow alcove. The zone itself, however, consists of 32 of these cells spread out so that they are just out of /shout distance.Verification Needed Its level elements are identical to the main sections of Horutoto Ruins.

"Gaol" is a British variant of "Jail" and is pronounced the same as jail.
