Lost Chick

Walkthrough

• First, go on a short walk until you get a cutscene where your chocobo finds a baby chick. Choosing the option "Take it home" will start the subevent. You will be asked to look for the original owner.
• As you take your chocobo out for subsequent walks (can be any length), if you run into another trainer, they will provide you with clues towards the identity of the chick's owner. They will give you the following three pieces of information:

• The initial letter of the owner's name
• The race and gender of the owner
• The owner's occupation

• Once you start collecting clues, you may talk to the VCS Chocoguy in your stable and select the "Lost Chick" option to hear the clues you have been given.
• After collecting all three pieces of information, the trainer will ask that you find the owner. You may locate the owner without all three pieces of information. (at 0 pieces of information you weren't allowed to ask if the NPC owned the chick)
• Find the correct NPC and talk to them. You will be given the option to ask if they are the chick's owner.
  • If you select yes and are correct, you will be awarded the Story of a Diligent Chocobo.
  • If you select yes and are wrong, you must restart the quest.
