Walkthrough

• Talk to Mertaire inside the Merry Minstrel's Meadhouse, and he'll ask you to get rid of a bracelet for him. Agree to help him and you'll receive Mertaire's Bracelet.
  • You can change jobs after receiving the key item if you wish. You do not have to be a Bard to fight Tros.
• Head to Ranguemont Pass (D-5) and interact with the Waters of Oblivion to spawn Tros.
• Kill Tros and click the Waters of Oblivion again for a cutscene and your Paper Knife.
