After having issues getting credit for the Tonberry fight on 2/18/26 some clarification was provided from the devs:
In order to receive credit for the kills and complete the mission, you must...
- Be on the hate table for all the mobs when they die so you get credit for the kill
- All three must be killed.
- Must not zone between killing any of them
This update came about from further retail testing, so this fight has been adjusted to match. Failing to get credit on any one of the Tonberries will mean the ??? will respawn the executor when you attempt to start the CS.
The tonberries do not share hate either, so be sure to take action on each before it dies, or take other action to ensure you are on the hate table after they spawn.
