Cerulean Shards can be earned by defeating HENM bosses. All players who participate in these battles are eligble for Cerulean Shards once per tier, per conquest tally. The amount of shards earned per tier is as follows:
- Tier 1: 50
- Tier 2: 75
- Tier 3:
- Tier 4:
Merchants
They can be exchanged for items by speaking to Shady Tonberry in Rabao (E-7).

Upgrading Gear
It has been confirmed that Cerulean Shards will be used to upgrade equipment found from HENM fights but this will be implemented at a later date.
