Horizon Changes

• The night flowers that need to be examined while doing the Save My Son quest can be examined as early as 16:00 and as late as 06:00 hours in game. This may or may not be a bug.

Walkthrough

• To start the quest, examine the Door: Merchant's House in Lower Jeuno (G-11), above the chocobo stables for a cutscene. Dietmund will answer the door and will ask for a herb. Agree to bring him a herb.
• Speak to Shalott in Upper Jeuno (G-7), who is standing outside the chocobo stables, for a cutscene. (Optional)
• Travel to Qufim Island and examine the Night Flowers down the ramp that's on the side of the cliff in Qufim Island (F-8) between 16:00 and 06:00 for a cutscene.
  • Was able to get the cutscene at 13:00.
  • This suggests that this part of the quest is either bugged or the times to click the flowers have been era+'ed.
  • A Kraken (37-38) may spawn above the Night Flowers. Sneak or Silent Oil can be used to avoid it entirely.
• Examine the Door: Merchant's House in Lower Jeuno (G-11) for a cutscene and your rewards.
• Speak to Brutus in Upper Jeuno (G-7), who is standing outside chocobo stables, for final cutscene and unlock BST.
