ASCII Alt codes
ASCII Alt codes can be used to create characters not seen on your keyboard, and incorporate them into FFXI Macro or chat. Listed below are the basic characters. Simply hold the "ALT" key and using your numeric keypad (NUMLOCK on) type the corresponding numbers and release ALT.
Codes not shown here will come up as a "box", "| with a break in the middle", "+", "-", "?" or possibly other incorrect symbol in game. These are verified to work in HorizonXI in the chat, every... single... one... lol. So if you find any other that are not incorrect or repeats of others, please add. I specifically left out keys found on most standard English keyboards to simplify the page of information. - RedBaren
