Development work

Created/collaborated to build the original 'the mentor shop' for hardcore players on the ffera private server back in 2014 [1]; a "hardcore"-style mode in ffera introduced moogles which sold unavailable items to dedicated players who can dedicate time to exping at a slower rate. So since it would be unfounded to created an article within this wiki, i will simply paste my contribution to the project.

The story behind it is:

Mish the admin and I (the teamspeak probably had a regular group of around eight people with a peak of twenty on the weekend with 20-25% of them being developers/admins/gms/staff) would often be around in the ffera's ffxi server's teamspeak(prediscord) around 2014. One thing mish loved to do was to chill in the morning (probably drinking coffee) and pick player's brains while working on the server. (mish mentioned before about living in colorado so this sounds very relaxing imo) (To my knowledge, updates would cause code to shift so it was mindless fixing which was mostly time for completion rather than complex update changes) I dont remember who came up with the mentor shop first but i quickly was interested in building one so i look at tiers of armor from 10-19 20-29 and so on. I did this similar to how the ranked level pvp arena itemizes in other mmorpgs. I ultimately settled on something like this. My original had more salvage gear in it but this is roughly what it turned into. I created the groundwork and this is the most current version of that work i could find:
