• This item is obtained by trading a Buccaneer's Knife to the ??? that appears at the south end of the room where Brigandish Blade is spawned (see screencap).
• If the pillar is not ready to morph the knife, you will just receive the "Nothing happens." message.
• If you fail you will need to steal a new knife to try again; a failed knife will never transform (verified 25/05/2020).
