Testimonials

  • It is recommended to fight in the order of WHM → SMN → SAM → NIN.
  • It may be useful to pull the WHM out of AoE range, so that it does not wake the others up with Benediction.

Trio

  • Trio of 75WHM/NIN 75RDM/BLM 75BLM/WHM can win with relative ease.
    • Fought in order of SMN > WHM > SAM > NIN to remove the elemental for sleep reasons.

Solo

  • Solo'ed on 68BST/NIN. Even a few levels earlier is probably possible.
    • They key to success is using Lullaby Melodia for Sheep Song. And killing the first Yagudo before 2x Sheep Song wears off.
    • Preparation:
      • Bring Pet Food Epsilon (or higher if you can).
      • Wait until Call Beast is ready again.
      • Use Tuna Sushi for acc and pet acc.
      • An Opo-opo Necklace with some Sleeping Potion really help since damage output in the beginning is the most important part of the fight.
      • Get Reraise up. If things go bad, run back to the entrance, die, reraise when the NMs are back to their original position, do preparations and resume. Already killed NMs will not respawn.
    • Fought in order SMN > NIN > SAM > WHM. So benediction doesn't prolong the fight and wake the others.
    • Let the pet attack the SMN without getting aggro (max range for pet attack works so you don't aggro). Use sheep song once and attack the SMN. Don't use Lamb Chop as you need the charges for Sheep Song.
    • When the others wake up, use Sheep Song a second time (They slept long enough for the 45 seconds to regain a charge).
    • By the time the second Sheep Song wears off, the SMN should be dead or nearly dead.
    • Run back to the entrance without attacking any other NM. They should kill the sheep, deaggro and go back to their spawn positions since they originally only linked to the sheep (worked for me).
    • If deaggroing fails for some reason (This was my original strategy and I took on the last two together), grab hate on the WHM and kite him. All he will hit you with are diaga IIs. The Sheep can solo one Yagudo on its own with a use of Reward. In case of two remaining, I suspect it can last long enough to get sheep song ready again to sleep the second. Have Call Beast ready to call a second sheep. If things go bad you can always run to the entrance, die, and get all preparations up again before engaging the remaining NMs.
