HorizonXI Patch Notes - 2/2/2024
Game version 1.2.2
- Fixes the Celestial nexus crash
- Fixed text on Crimson Jelly to correctly say "INT+6" instead of "INT-6".
Addons
- Balloon by Mitch. This addon shows NPC dialogue bubbles and is super nice.
- Zonename by Mitch. This addon adds FF14 style zone names on your screen when you change zones.
- mipmap by atom0s. This restores the retail client setting to properly handle mipmaps. (Retail now tries to force a maximum allowed value of 2.)
Plugins
- Sequencer by ThornyFFXI. This prevents some double messages ('Unable to cast spells at this time.', 'You must wait longer to use that ability.', etc) if you are using Ashitacast, LuAshitacast, and LegacyAC.
Unfortunately there aren't toggles for these in the launcher yet. I'll add them soon ™️. - Flam
Dynamis
- Dynamis - Tavnazia has been released
- Multiple Groups should no longer be able to enter the same Dynamis at the same Time.
Quests
- Added furniture quests for the following items: armoire, beverage barrel, bureau, copy of lines and spaces, cupboard, oak bed, simple bed, stationary set, tarutaru desk, water cask, white jar, wicker box. (Tiberon)
( If you already own furniture related to a quest - you have to remove the furniture and place it again for quests to trigger. )
- Adds quest Unexpected Treasure. (Tiberon)
Crafting
- Changes the expansion tag of Luminous Core, Inferno Core, Spirit Core, and Frigid Core from TOAU to COP to make them craftable in COP era. (Bliven)
Items
- Sea Robber Cudgel and Seawolf Cudgel now have era accurate drop rates. (Tracent)
- Crafting belts now give advanced synthesis support for the correct era duration of eight minutes. (Tracent)
- Jeunoan tree is now ice element instead of thunder element (Haplo)
- Rogue's Armlets +1 will now properly increase Trick Attack damage (Haplo)
Misc
- Fixed elemental ore having lower than intended weight during 21% moon. (Samson-ffxi)
- Fixes several crashes related to Dynamic Entities (Zach2good)
- Speaking to all quasilumin in al'taieu (and once more to any of them afterwards) will now reward the map of Al'taieu. (Heavenssword)
- Fixed issue where the NPC Heizo would incorrectly report the number of rusty subligars turned in to Heiji during the "Like Shining Leggings" quest instead of rusty leggings. (Heavenssword)
- Moogles should no longer attempt to give players rare items they already have during Starlight Celebration event. (Tracent)
Combat / Magic
- Armor with spike status effects (like curse) will now display proc messages. (Sarca571ca)
- Adjusted the formula used to calculate base potency for Blind II. (Jamesbradleym)
- Improve trick attack/cover algorithm to better find trick attack and cover targets (WinterSolstice8, MowFord)
- Player wyvern pet breaths that are canceled due to the target dying or being out of range will no longer produce a bad action packet that used to crash certain addons (Wintersolstice)
- Magic-based bloodpacts that can magic burst now give the correct message when bursting (and should no longer crash add-ons). (Tracent)
Monsters
- Ghrahs will no longer reduce their own attack each time they change forms, resulting in 0 attack ghrahs. (Tiberon)
- Spider ghrahs are now terrifying, and correctly receive their large boost to base dmg. (Tiberon)
- Ghrah sickle slash and vorpal blade now correctly bypass shadows. (Tiberon)
- Ghrah core meltdown has been adjusted from using mob's base weapon dmg + a random factor to 50% of remaining of hp converted to base damage. (Tiberon)
- Kirin's evasion is now more retail accurate. (Tracent)
- A placeholder for the NM Nunyenunc has been removed from it's list. (Hookstar)
- Tartaruga Gigante (ks99) should no longer rapidly use TP moves and enter/exit shell when at very low HP under certain circumstances. (Tracent)
- The following monsters' behaviors will be more consistent after disengaging and then reengaging (for example after party wipe): Mammet-19 Epsilon, Mammet-800, Ouryu, Provoker, Archlich Taber'quoan, and Kf'ghrah. (Tracent)
- Parata, Bladmall, and Tuchulcha should now have retail accurate immunities to status effects. (Tracent)
- Parata should now have more retail accurate weapon damage and attack, Nepionic Parata should now have retail accurate regain, and Nepionic Bladmall should now stand back. (Similar to Bladmall) (Tracent)
- Dynamis Lord clones should now correctly despawn after unsuccessfully attempting to use their mob skills. (Tracent)
- Dynamis Lord should no longer occasionally become stuck in a state where it uses a single mob skill repeatedly without moving. (Tracent)
- KSNM Infernal Swarm should now drop Desert Sash. (Tracent)
- Cronos from NE Apollyon should now be susceptible to ranged damage. (Tracent)
- Tarasque will now spawn aggressive and claimed to the spawner per capture. Tarasque will no longer start with a Blaze Spikes effect that does not do damage. Instead, Tarasque will behave as expected and only gain Blaze Spikes if it hits a target. (Tiberon)
- Fixed a few issues with Cluster NM TP moves. (Tiberon)
- Unstable Cluster has regained its attacks per remaining bomb and will no longer self destruct to death. (Tiberon)
- Razon's TP moves have returned to normal. (Tiberon)
- Aspidochelone should no longer rapidly use TP moves and enter/exit shell when at very low HP (<3%) under certain circumstances. (Tracent)
- The mob 2 hour eagle eye shot has been significantly enhanced. (Tiberon)
