Invisible (Status Effect).png Invisible is a beneficial status effect that obscures a player's body until it wears off or is removed. Benefiting characters are harder to detect by sight. This makes a character practically immune to being detected by sight. The exception to this is monsters with the True Sight ability.

Along with Deodorize and Sneak, Invisible is one of the few status effects in the game that will produce warnings in the chat log when it is about to wear off, allowing the player approximately 20-30 seconds to reach a safe spot in a dangerous area before the status effect wears off. This is somewhat offset by the fact that the duration of Invisible effects is not fixed, and can be very random, sometimes starting to wear off almost immediately after it's applied.

Most switches, teleporter devices, doors, and other environment objects can not be activated while invisible. It is necessary to manually cancel invisible status in order to activate them. Additionally, activating items can cancel invisible. If using spells or items to avoid detection, use invisible last.

Notes

Though much like Hide (Status Effect), the two are different status effects.
Hide (Status Effect) and Invisible (Status Effect) however do not stack.
