Non-standard Notorious Monsters differ from Notorious Monsters with Unknown Spawn Conditions in that their spawn method is known, but do not fit into the Timed Spawn, Lottery Spawn, or Forced Spawn categories.

• A couple examples would be Voluptuous Vilma and Taisaijin; both of these NMs spawn when their placeholders aren't killed for a specific period in time.
• Other examples include King Arthro & Cemetery Cherry. Unlike Lottery Spawn NMs which require a particular placeholder to be killed, these NMs require an entire group of monsters to be killed before they will spawn. For example, Cemetery Cherry spawns after eight Cherry Saplings have been killed.
• Other spawn conditions may apply. For example, Bayawak only spawns during Fire weather.
