Cooking 0-60 Guide

• Fishing will help you immensely in leveling cooking to 60 with minimal costs. If you dont fish you can buy a lot of fish on the AH. For some reason on Horizon people sell fish for less than NPC prices on the AH??? No idea why but hey take advantage of their stupidity. Feel free to move up to the next synth if you are ok with breaks or if the mats are harder to come by for certain items in order. 5 or less gap will give skill on breaks.
• Dont buy distilled water on the AH. Its 4x more expensive for no reason. Dont be lazy, there is a vendor everywhere that sells them for 120g stack.
• 0-6 //Hard-Boiled Egg (6)-Fire Crystal, Bird Egg(NPC 54g), Distilled Water(NPC 10g) - Use Advanced support for alteast the first level or two which should go quick.
• 6-9 //Pet Food Alpha (9)-Earth Crystal, Bird Egg(NPC at Airship 54g), Distilled Water(NPC 10g), Hare Meat (AH), Horo Flour(AH/NPC check which is cheaper) - NPC results
• TEST ITEM: Salmon Sub: Earth Crystal, Crying Mustard, Black Bread, Apple Vinegar, La Theine Cabbage, Smoked Salmon, Mithran Tomato
• 9-11 //Sliced Sardine (11)-Wind Crystal, Bastore Sardine - This is where fishing comes in. You can skip straight to the next item on the list if you have Cod instead of Sardines.
• 11-13 //Sliced Cod (11)-Wind Crystal, Tiger Cod - NPC this as long as you want for decent gil.
• 13-19 //Pet Food Beta (19)-Earth Crystal, Bird Egg(NPC at Airship 54g), Distilled Water(NPC 10g), Giant Sheep Meat (AH), Horo Flour(AH/NPC check which is cheaper) - NPC results
• 19-20 //Selbina Butter (20)-Ice Crystal, Selbina Milk, Rock Salt -Save this for the next bridge synth . Cost depends on price of ice crystals (Feb 17 patch nuked crystal price)
• TEST ITEM: Pea Soup: Fire Crystal, Blue Peas x3, Wild Onion, Dried Marjoram, Distilled Water
• 20-22 //Baked Popoto (22)-Fire Crystal, Selbina Butter, Popoto - Use up the Selbina butter you made until you hit alteast 21. AH the leftover
• 22-29 //Insect Ball (29)-Earth Crystal, Little Worm, Millioncorn, Distilled Water. - Advanced Support. This is a money maker sell it all on AH. It moves extremely fast since 75% of Horizon is fishing for Moats it seems.
• TEST ITEM: Vegetable Gruel: Fire Crystal, San d'Orian Flour, Chamomile, Frost Turnip, Rarab Tail, Distilled Water, Beaugreens
• 29-34// Black Bread (34)-Fire Crystal, Rye Flour, Rock Salt, Distilled Water - Just NPC this for about break even.
• 34-39// Pet Food Delta (39)-Earth Crystal, Rye Flour, Bird Egg, Distilled Water, Land Crab Meat. NPC for a profit. At this point you might have actually made a total profit if you sold all your Insect Balls
• TEST ITEM: Meat Mithkabob-Fire Crystal, Cockatrice Meat, Wild Onion, Mhaura Garlic, Kazham Peppers - Probably easier to buy on AH (Almost every nq item on Horizon sells at a loss compared to ingredients)
• 39-46// Pickled Herring (46)-Ice Crystal, Dried Marjoram, Rock Salt, Nosteau Herring(39 Fishing). Adv Support til 41. If you have been leveling fishing you can start the Herring at 29 or 25+4 from gear. NPC results
• 46-50 //Apple Pie (48/50)-Fire Crystal, Pie Dough, Cinnamon, Maple Sugar, Faerie Apple, Lizard Egg/Bird Egg - Switching the egg increases the cap of the synth. These will sell eventually but you may just want to NPC them depending how fast you want to move onto the next synth. Can be skipped if you want to 6 gap the Crayfish Balls. TEST ITEM
• 46-52 //Crayfish Ball (52)-Earth Crystal, Crayfishx3, Distilled Water, San D'Orian Flour - Adv support if you skipped Apple Pies. This will sell fast on the AH and its relatively cheap. Again so many people are fishing.
• 52-59 //Pet Food Zeta (59)-Earth Crystal, San d'Orian Flour, Coeurl Meat, Lizard Egg, Distilled Water -Adv support until 55. Depending how expensive Coeurl Meat is on AH this can NPC for a profit. You will need to make a ton of this. Start in windy at the guild for Support. You can NPC it at the shop across the bridge from it and restock your Distilled water as you need to.
• 59-60 //Yagudo Drink (60)-Dark Crystal, Yagudo Cherry, Buburimu Grapex3 - Kolshushu vendor has ingredients. This is also the TEST ITEM (if you plan to go beyond 60)
