Change Map

On the map menu, the Change Map commmand can be used to view maps of other areas instead of the one you are currently in. Change Map also allows you to view different maps associated with a certain area, such as the 2 maps for Windurst Waters, regardless of whether you are currently in that zone or not.

• The Change Map menu is similar to the Search menu. Areas are sorted by region.
• To view an area's map, you must possess that area's map key item or having been to the zone at least once with the addon "AllMaps" enabled.

The in-game map numbers for particular areas may be different than the map numbers on this site. Players assigned the maps numbers long before Square-Enix.

All areas with permanently obtainable maps can be viewed in the Change Map menu, with the following exceptions:

• Sealion's Den
• Abdhaljs Isle-Purgonorgo
• Diorama Abdhaljs-Ghelsba
• Chocobo Circuit
• The Colosseum

Note that despite having multiple maps, Chocobo Circuit's maps cannot be toggled, even if you are in the zone itself.

Areas with temporarily obtainable maps, such as Mamool Ja Training Grounds and Everbloom Hollow, are not available for the Change Map option.
