Category:Coffer Keys

These are keys that open the higher level treasure type chests in a monster zone. They are mostly used for Artifact quests to receive the different pieces but most zones can also have higher end rare items. Due to the possible rare items farming HorizonXI has a cool down timer for opening chests in a zone for all set to 15 mins before it can be opened again by anyone in the zone it will tell time remaining with stating "the chest was an illusion" if still on cool down. That being said, If you are opening the coffer for a quest you will always receive your item bypassing the timer.
