Recast Time: 3 minutes (-6 seconds with each merit upgrade)

Notes

  • When active, the user's defense is increased by 25% and attack is decreased by 25%.
  • Is able to be removed with Dispel and Finale.

Horizon Changes HorizonXI specific changes

  • Defender provides a -25% enmity loss reduction when taking damage (works with /WAR subjob). Additionally gives a +10% chance to block with a shield, but for WAR main job only.
    It also adds 250 cumulative enmity (CE) to provoke, when Warrior is set as main job. This number is reduced to +180 for (/WAR).
