* Alternatively feel free to [[warp]], [[escape]] etc. If you left without getting the cutscene and still want to see it, go back in before seeing [[Apururu]] and recollect the orbs.

Windurst

East Sarutabaruta

Outer Horutoto Ruins

  • Inside, you must charge all six Dark Mana Orbs by examining the 6 Ancient Magical Gizmos found throughout the ruins.
  • Each time you examine a Gizmo, you’ll see a cutscene as the orb becomes energized.
  • There are six Gizmos in total:
    • Four located at the corners of the large central chamber.
    • Two more hidden behind secret doors along the north and south walls — examine each door to open it.
  • After charging all six orbs, head east and look for a crack in the wall. Inside, examine the Gate: Magical Gizmo to trigger another cutscene.
    • There is a Balloon in this room that may aggro lower-level party members.
    • If you receive the message “The door is firmly shut.”, return and speak with Pore-Ohre again before proceeding.
  • After the cutscene, you’ll receive the message: “The six Mana Orbs have been successfully energized with magic!”
  • Re-examine each Ancient Magical Gizmo to recollect your orbs, which are now Key ItemGlowing Mana Orbs.
  • Optional: Exit the ruins back into East Sarutabaruta for an additional cutscene featuring the Ace Cardians.
    • If you left via warp, escape etc. without seeing the cutscene but still want to see it, re-enter and recollect the orbs before reporting back.
  • Within the main room, you’ll encounter Goblins (sight) and Bats (sound) that aggro; Battue Bats do not. Behind each cracked wall, two Balloons (sight) will also aggro.
