For use on monster pages, to describe the monster's spawn conditions and details its abilities and traits.
- spawn conditions: Any special spawn conditions, such as time of day and weather. This also includes forced spawn, lottery spawn, timed spawn, and morph spawn conditions.
- companions-summons: Any monsters that spawn alongside and "party" with the monster, including summons and pets.
- special abilities: Special abilities used by the monster, usually consuming TP.
- passive traits: Passive traits that the monster has, such as Auto Regen.
- physical qualities: Physical qualities of the monster, such as high defense or strength.
- magical qualities: Magical qualities of the monster, such as elemental resistances or spellcasting ability. This also includes any spells it can cast.
- directions: Directions to reach the monster. This is usually just a list of coordinates where it spawns, but can be more detailed, such as how many spawn in what areas.
- further notes: Any further notes on the monster that are not covered in other areas. This is where testimonials should be shared, if necessary.

Usage
Regular monsters (no NM tags)
To create the infobox for a standard monster (like the Bumblebee), you only need to supply the basic parameters:
{{Infobox Monster
| name = Bumblebee
| image = Bumblebee.jpg
| image caption = Bumblebee
| job = [[Warrior]]
| family = Bees
| crystal = Wind
| weaknesses = {{element|Ice}} {{Piercing}}
}}
This produces a simple infobox without any Notorious Monster headers.
Notorious Monsters
To tag a mob as a Notorious Monster, set the `type` parameter to `Notorious Monster` and optionally provide the `spawn` parameter (`Timed`, `Forced`, `Lottery`, `Mission`, `Quest` or `Non-Standard`) if you know how the NM appears:
{{Infobox Monster
| name = Goblin Delver
| image = Goblin_Delver.png
| image caption = Goblin Delver
| job = [[Thief]]
| family = Goblins
| crystal = Lightning
| weaknesses = {{element|Wind}} {{Slashing}}
| type = Notorious Monster
| spawn = Timed
}}
The infobox will display the red “Notorious Monster” tag and a “Spawn Type: Timed” row beneath it.
BCNM/KSNM/ZNM/HENM examples
For monsters that appear in Burning Circle Notorious Monster (BCNM), Kindred Seal Notorious Monster (KSNM), Zeni Notorious Monster (ZNM/ISNM) or Hyper Empty Notorious Monster (HENM) battles, use the appropriate `type` value and provide the name of the battlefield. The template will add an extra row showing the category (BCNM/KSNM/ZNM/HENM) on the left and a link to the specific battle on the right.
{{Infobox Monster
| name = Prune
| type = BCNM
| bcnm name = Charming Trio <!-- Name of the BCNM fight -->
|
}}
{{Infobox Monster
| name = Evil Oscar
| type = KSNM
| ksnm name = Contaminated Colosseum
|
}}
{{Infobox Monster
| name = Pandemonium Warden
| type = ZNM <!-- or ISNM -->
| znm name = Briareus (ZNM)
| tier = 5 <!-- only needed for ZNM/HENM if applicable -->
|
}}
{{Infobox Monster
| name = Teratornis
| type = HENM
| tier = 1 <!-- HENM tiers I–V -->
| henm name = Ruinous Rocs
|
}}
