Walkthrough
Trade 3 Crystal's to any San d'Orian Conquest Overseer to unlock this mission.
- Speak to any San d'Oria Gate Guard and accept the mission from the list.
- A Map of La Theine Plateau and Ordelle's Caves can be purchased from the Map NPC's in Northern San d'Oria and Southern San d'Oria, but it is not required.
- Head to La Theine Plateau and speak to Galaihaurat at La Theine Plateau (E-6), standing at the edge of a stone wall.
- Descend into the fissure at La Theine Plateau (F-6) from the east side. Equesobillot will be at the start of the decent. Continue down the slope and then south to Ordelle's Caves.
- Optional: Talk to Vicorpasse for mission context. Talk to the other NPCs, Equesobillot, Deaufrain, Augevinne, Yaucevouchat, Laurisse, and Narvecaint for additional dialogue.
- Tip: Be careful of the Funguars as they will aggro you by sound if you are doing this mission at-level. Silent Oils are not necessary as long as you are patient since there is plenty of space to avoid them. To add, while it is excessive, doing this quest right after Japanese Midnight will almost guarantee that some kind adventurer will pass by and revive you in this otherwise low traffic area because of Eco-Warrior (San d'Oria).
- Once you are inside Ordelle's Caves, follow the left wall until you come to (G-3), where there is a small pond. Talk to Ruillont crouching behind a stalagmite.
- Return the way you came to La Theine Plateau. One of three NPCs at random will give you Ruillont's Bronze Sword if you talk to them, in order from closest to furthest: Either Deaufrain, Equesobillot, and if unfortunate, Galaihaurat by the road.
- Tip: You cannot prepare a Bronze Sword beforehand and hand it to Ruillont, for he will reject it saying it's not his sword. Once one of the three NPCs hands you his sword, then you are able to trade a different Bronze Sword to Ruillont. This impractical option exists as a way to save a player who might have accidentally lost the sword given from the NPCs.
- Go back to La Theine Plateau and talk to Vicorpasse at La Theine Plateau (F-6) for Rescue Training Certificate.
- Return to a San d'Oria Gate Guard to complete the mission.
