Description	The minister of the Orastery in conducting an experiment in the eastern magic tower of the Horutoto Ruins, located in East Sarutabaruta. Inquire at the Orastery first, then go assist him.

Walkthrough

NOTE: You are not eligible to skip missions by trading in crystals until you are rank 2 or higher.

1. Talk to any Windurst Gate Guard and accept the misson.
   1. Mokyokyo-Windurst Waters-F-5; Janshura-Rashura Port Windurst-B-5; Rakoh Buuma-Windurst Woods-K-10; Zokima-Rokima-Windurst Walls-H-7
2. {Port Windurst E-7}
   • Talk to Hakkuru-Rinkuru (E-7) in the Orastery for a cutscene.
3. {East Sarutabaruta J-7}
   • Go to the entrance (#5) to the Inner Horutoto Ruins at J-7.
     • Optional: Before entering, talk to Sama Gohjima, who is standing before the entrance. She will tell you the minister of the Orastery is in the lab below, and that to get there you should check the walls carefully.
4. {Inner Horutoto Ruins Lily Tower I-10} Map#1 - Click Gate (cs) -> Click Ancient GIzmos until get Cracked Mana Orb.
   • a. Go down the stairs until you come to the main room.
   • b. Circle around down South, and look for the crack in the center of the South wall at (H-9) (top right)
     • (if you see dirt instead of brick floors, you've taken the wrong cracked wall opening).
   • c. Enter and go East(left in your point of view).
   • d. Click on the Gate: Magical Gizmo at (I-10) to watch another cutscene with the Minister.
   • e. Search the six different Ancient Magical Gizmos G-8 G-9 H-8 H-9 I-8 I-9 until you find the Cracked Mana Orb.
     • The Cracked Mana Orb is randomly assigned to an Ancient Magical Gizmo for each human party member.
5. {Port Windurst E-7}
   1. Take the Cracked Mana Orb back to Hakkuru-Rinkuru in the Orastery(E-7) to complete the mission.

Notes

• The NPCs around the Gate Guards will (usually) comment on the mission you're on.
• The title granted depends on which gate guard you first visit to get this mission. See Titles for an index of which guard awards which title initially. All of these titles can be re-obtained by Burute-Sorute.
• The Gate Guard cutscenes can't be re-watched at a Melody Minstrel.
  • The short Ancient Magical Gizmos cutscenes can also not be re-watched at a Goblin Footprint.

Background Info

The title seems to be a play on words of "The Harrad Experiment", a 1973 film about free love.
