Haubergeon Set
A set of heavy armor synthed from various metals, the main metal being Darksteel. The Darksteel Chainmail set is designed to provide solid defense to the wearer, while the body of the armor gives copious additions to the important melee skills of accuracy, attack, strength, and dexterity, although these bonuses come at the cost of a sacrifice in agility and evasion.
A heavy body-piece of fine darksteel mail, unmistakable at a distance with its distinctive, serrated Damascus spaulders and its heavy gray-and-white striped surcoat. Patterned after standard mail shirts, this weighty armor is not for the light-footed, but its distribution of weight and balance allows for the dealing of certain, heavy blows to the enemy.
