Imperial Standing

The Near East's version of Conquest Points and Allied Notes, also known as "credits." You can view how many Imperial Standing points you currently have by using the in-game menu category "Regional Info" under the topic "Besieged," or simply typing the /bmap command.

Standing credits are earned like Conquest Points as a fraction of Experience Points earned in battle while the player has the Sanction effect on. The common ratio is one IS per 10 exp. This ratio goes up under certain conditions, such as defeating mobs in areas with the Astral Candescence (when not under Al Zahbi control). Standing credits can only be earned in Treasures of Aht Urhgan expansion areas. They are also given as a reward for successfully participating in Besieged and from some quests.

Standing credits can be exchanged for various equipment and maps at the Imperial Gate Guards who grant Sanction, as long as you have a high enough Mercenary Rank. They can also be exchanged for Near East Imperial coins with Ugrihd. Credits can be used to purchase key items from Shajaf for entering ISNM battlefields. Finally, for 200 Imperial Standing, you may purchase a Runic Portal Use Permit from Sharin-Garin to use the Chamber of Passage to travel to a Staging Point Runic Portal for which you do not have an Assault Order.

• Trade an Archaic Mirror (Item) to an Imperial Overseer in Aht Urhgan Whitegate, Al Zahbi, or Nashmau.
