Instruments used by a Bard to add effects to fellow party members or a party's enemy. Most of the instruments give boosts to certain songs that can be sung by a bard, which is why it's always great to have the +1 versions of the instruments.
Buff songs played with Wind Instruments have an area of effect of 10'.
Debuff songs played with Wind Instruments have the same Magic Accuracy as songs played with String Instruments.
Mary's Horn and Piccolo +1 don't boost the songs' effects as much as Nursemaid's Harp and Sorrowful Harp, but the songs land more consistently.
Each +1 to a song on an instrument increases its duration by 10%, and also increases its effect. All buff songs have a base duration of 120 seconds, or 2 minutes.
Macro Syntax
In order to change equipment in this slot via text command, you use the following syntax:
- /equip range "<Item Name, as seen in inventory>"
Leaving the Item name out of the macro will unequip any items in the slot
