Walkthrough
- You must change areas after completing the previous quest.
- Kohlo-Lakolo will tell you Honoi-Gomoi wants the mana orb back.
- Talk to Honoi-Gomoi in Windurst Waters, South (E-7), upstairs in the back of the house. He'll rant about the orb and Nanaa Mihgo.
- (optional) Talk to Nanaa Mihgo and she'll talk about the merchant, saying you should just give him the orb back.
- Find a Star Spinel and bring it to Honoi-Gomoi. This will trigger a cutscene and you will be given your reward: a Star Necklace.
- Star Spinels are Rare/Exclusive items that drop from Spelunking Sabotenders in Quicksand Caves.
- You will need to pass through 2 weight sensors. The weight sensors can be activated by one Galka, or three Tarutaru, or any combination of 2 individuals that are Elvaan, Hume, Mithra, or Tarutaru. You can reach them by taking the entrance at (D-12) of Western Altepa Desert by taking the tunnel on the border of (C-11) and (D-11), which leads off the map. You can also find them in the caves outside the Chamber of Oracles.
- Or enter Quicksand Caves from Western Altepa Desert (G-5). You will need to pass through two weight sensors to reach the camp. The first at J-6. The second at H-7.
- Star Spinels are Rare/Exclusive items that drop from Spelunking Sabotenders in Quicksand Caves.
- Like all Cactuar monsters, they can and will use 1000 Needles, which can cause significant damage to a solo player even at level 75.
- Talk to Kohlo-Lakolo and then to Honoi-Gomoi to complete the quest.
