Walkthrough
NOTE: You are not eligible to skip missions by trading in crystals until you are rank 2 or higher.
Please note the "Notes" at the bottom to learn about aggressive monsters in the mission.
Windurst
- Accept the mission from any Windurst Gate Guard.
- Talk to any Windurst Gate Guard and accept the misson.
- Head to the Manustery, Windurst Woods (H-9) and talk to Apururu. She will give you 6 Dark Mana Orbs and tell you to go to the Outer Horutoto Ruins.
East Sarutabaruta
- Warning! There are mobs in this area which will aggro as high as level 10.
- Go to the Marguerite Tower (#4) which can be found at East Sarutabaruta (J-11)
- Before heading inside, talk to Pore-Ohre, who will give you a Southeastern Star Charm.
Outer Horutoto Ruins
- Once inside you need to charge the 6 Dark Mana Orbs by clicking at 6 Ancient Magical Gizmos, watch a cutscene to charge them, then recollect the orbs.
- Follow the path until you approach an intersection. You can start on either the left or right. There are 4 Gizmos in the corners of this room.
- 2 Gizmos are in 2 secret rooms along the north and south walls. Click on their targetable door to open them.
- Once all of the orbs have been placed, head to the crack on the east wall of this area. Inside examine the "Gate: Magical Gizmo" door for a short cutscene.
- There's a bomb in this room which will aggro lower level players.
- If you receive the message "The door is firmly shut." try talking to Pore-Ohre again.
- After the cutscene, it will say "the six Mana Orbs have been successfully energized with magic!"
- Recollect all the orbs (now Glowing Mana Orbs) you have placed into the Gizmos earlier (click them all again).
- (Optional) Head back up the stairs and zone back into East Sarutabaruta to receive an extra cutscene involving the Ace Cardians.
- Alternatively feel free to warp, escape etc. If you left without getting the cutscene and still want to see it, go back in before seeing Apururu and recollect the orbs.
Windurst
Notes
- Within the main room, there are many Goblins (sight) and Bats (sound) which aggro. The Battue Bats do not. Behind each cracked wall, there are two Balloons (sight) which will aggro as well.
- A player of around level 21 will avoid aggro from all of these mobs. Alternatively use oils and powders, however this is likely an expensive option for newer players.
- Completing this mission with other adventurers is the safest option for lower level players.
