Historical Background
In Russian folklore, the chlevnik was a type of Domovoi which was a household spirit residing exclusively in the barn. Other types of Domovoi were the Ovinnik and the Bannik. There may be more information online about this creature, but it is probably under a different spelling. It is unclear why Square-Enix chose a Behemoth for this creature since nothing in the name remotely implies Behemoth.
