Hello and welcome. Here is | Hello and welcome. Here is an extremely streamlined leveling route for beginning Windurst citizens on the Horizon server. By the end of this guide you will have:
*'''Level 11 ''' | |||
*'''Rank 2'''--having completed the first three Nation Missions
*'''25,000 gil''' worth of items in your posession, as well as the nation ring, ''and'' an item that grants '''bonus experience.'''

| |||
The guide is geared both towards brand-new and returning players. If you are not new to the game, you're going to value this guide for its efficiency. All of these things are accomplished--at the same time! If you're new, I've tried to provide you with all the necessary information. If you follow this guide, you'll be methodically introduced one-by-one to a variety of the game's concepts and challenges while exploring its vibrant world, and you will end up ahead of the average player.

| |||
As fitting to this game I've tried to retain a little mystery and discovery. I won't hand you ''every'' answer, but I ''will'' give you all the tools you need to attain them yourself. You'll benefit from paying attention to what NPCs say, experimenting, clicking links in the guide, and thinking things through. That said, if you ever get stuck, try a /shout ingame or ask on the discord server. Help is never far away.

| |||
This guide will still work well if you team up. Feel free to bring some friends.

| |||
If you're rank 1 and want to use this guide to level a second job, you can. Get to level 5 and then proceed immediately to [[#Windurst_Woods|the first Mission]]

| |||
By the end of the guide you'll have been introduced to the three major gameplay loops of the game: advancing the story, making gil, and leveling up--and you'll be in a great position to enter party-based play with others. From there it is your destiny. Please enjoy.

CAUTION! | ||
This article is only a guide. Information expressed in a guide is usually more opinion than fact and should be taken as such. Guides are written by players, based upon their experiences, successes and mistakes, and are meant to aid other players. However, there may be differing opinions than those expressed in a guide. Strategies and information in guides may not work for everyone. |
- Level 11
- Rank 2--having completed the first three Nation Missions
- 25,000 gil worth of items in your posession, as well as the nation ring, and an item that grants bonus experience.
As fitting to this game I've tried to retain a little mystery and discovery. I won't hand you every answer, but I will give you all the tools you need to attain them yourself. You'll benefit from paying attention to what NPCs say, experimenting, clicking links in the guide, and thinking things through. That said, if you ever get stuck, try a /shout ingame or ask on the discord server. Help is never far away.
This guide will still work well if you team up. Feel free to bring some friends.
If you're rank 1 and want to use this guide to level a second job, you can. Get to level 5 and then proceed immediately to the first Mission
By the end of the guide you'll have been introduced to the three major gameplay loops of the game: advancing the story, making gil, and leveling up--and you'll be in a great position to enter party-based play with others. From there it is your destiny. Please enjoy.
