He is depicted as a man with a lion's face, riding a bear and carrying a vicious viper in one hand. Before he arrives, trumpets can be heard sounding. He is said to know of hidden things and can find treasures anywhere. He also has knowledge of the past, present, and future, including of the creation of the world and all the secrets of the Earth, including the divine ones. He is also known for bringing high-quality Familiars (see any of the Beastmaster [Familiar]). Purson was once a Throne (a category of angel).
