The element of Ice is weak against Fire and strong against Wind. A mage wielding this element has the ability to pelt their enemies with ice and entrench them in agonizing cold. The offensive Ice elemental spells are particularly favored by mages because of the large amount of mobs weak to ice, the ability to magic burst with the ever-popular Distortion Skillchain, and because the Ice Staff not only boosts the potency of this element, but also lends +10 Elemental Magic Skill.
Associated with Induration, Distortion, and Darkness (Skillchain). Governed by the celestial avatar Shiva. Related to the attribute of INT. Several spells that carry the Ice element also cause Paralysis or Bind status.
