A stat that affects:
- Black Magic
- Elemental Magic spells, Black Magic Enfeebling Magic spellsand some Blue Magic magical spells (See Calculating Magic Damage for the precise calculations)
- Absorb-STR, Absorb-DEX, Absorb-VIT, Absorb-AGI, Absorb-INT, Absorb-MND, and Absorb-CHR accuracy
- Blaze Spikes, Ice Spikes, and Shock Spikes damage
- Ninjutsu
- White Magic
- Magic Resistance
- INT reduces the base damage taken from Black Magic spells and Ninjutsu.
- Job Abilities
- Beastmaster's Tame success rate
- Intelligence also determines the additional effect from Fire Arrows, Ice Arrows, Lightning Arrows, Acid Bolts, Sleep Bolts, Blind Bolts, Bloody Bolts, Venom Bolts, Earth Arrows, Water Arrows, and Wind Arrows.
Associated with the element of Ice. Many ice-based items add INT to a character's Stats. Example: Shiva's Claws
