Mining is a Hobby in which various items can be mined from Mining Points. In order to mine, adventurers need to use a pickaxe on a point. Each mineable zone has a set amount of possible mining point locations. Only so many of these can be active at any one time and once a point has been mined, it will respawn immediately at another location. All points yield four items before being depleted however, multiple active points can appear at the same location, allowing miners to yield double and even triple the items. A quick and simple way to mine is to use the following macro:

Equipment
Adventurers must have Pickaxes in their Inventory to be able to mine. Mining itself does not require the use of any equipment but it is highly recommended.
Pickaxes will break often so adventurers should ensure that they bring plenty with them. The Field Tunica Set or Worker Tunica Set reduce the amount of pickaxes that will break. The amount reduced requires further testing.
Mining Tips
- Having Smithing or Goldsmithing leveled sufficiently can allow a miner to turn ores into ingots, keeping more inventory space free and thus allowing them to mine for longer periods.
- Only so many mining points can be active at any one time. Running between these points can prove to be very time consuming. It's generally advantageous to team-up with fellow miners to ensure all points are being covered with the least amount of running between them.
- Players can mine whilst under the effect of sneak but cannot do so whilst under the effects of invisible. This can allow lower level players to mine in some areas that they wouldn't usually be able to.
