Inner Horutoto Ruins - Beetle's Burrow

Walk Through

• Naiko-Paneiko, in the "Tarutaru Times" offices at Windurst Waters, South (C-11), wants you to track down several reporters.
• Speak to the following:
  • Kyume-Romeh(Windurst Waters Scoop) - Timbre's Timbers Tavern in northern Windurst Waters, North (F-10)
  • Yujuju (Port Windurst Scoop) - By the Air Travel Agency in Port Windurst (M-6)
  • Hiwon-Biwon (Windurst Walls Scoop)- Next to Shantotto's house in Windurst Walls (K-8)
  • Umumu (Windurst Woods Scoop)- By the Dhalmel farm in Windurst Woods (I-5)/(I-6)
• You must acquire all the articles to proceed in the quest. Be sure to obtain the key item from each NPC. Some are also affiliated with the quest Lure of the Wildcat (Windurst), which takes priority over this quest. You may need to speak to the NPC twice to get it.
• Go to Inner Horutoto Ruins (Lily Tower) through the tower at East Sarutabaruta (J-7).
  • If you are below level 30, Sneak and Invisible is not necessary.
• If you have a map:
  • Go to (G-8) or (G-9) and go through the cracked wall to reach the second map (Beetle's Burrow).
  • Go to (G-8) on this second map (Beetle's Burrow), and follow the tunnel south and west (off the map) to the Mahogany Door.
    • If you run past two greenish stone walls along the way that have magicked bones hanging out near them, you are going in the right direction. The Mahogany Door is at a dead end.
• If you don't have a map:
  • Hug the right wall when you enter the Lily Tower until you reach an Ancient Magical Gizmo. The cracked wall at the first (G-8) is to the right of this.
  • You can then keep following the right wall and you will eventually reach the Mahogany Door at the second (G-8).
• Click on the door to receive a notification that you confirmed the scoop.
  • You may need to click multiple times to get the notification that you confirmed.
• Return to Naiko-Paneiko to complete the quest.
