Walkthrough
Note: This quest will not appear in your quest log.
- Peddlestox appears only on Earthsday at 0:00 in Western Altepa Desert (L-7).
- She now appears on Earthsday all day.
- She will ask you to bring her four items. They are all Rare/Ex.
- Xhifhut Bow drops from Antican Hoplomachus in Western Altepa Desert.
- Xhifhut Body drops from Antican Signifer in Quicksand Caves. Enter from Western Altepa Desert (J-9) exit > Quicksand Caves Map 3.
- Xhifhut Strings drop from Antican Aedilis in Quicksand Caves. Enter from Western Altepa Desert (D-12) exit 4 (preferred) or Western Altepa Desert (D-10) exit 5 > Quicksand Caves Map 4 (ONLY on Map 4).
- Xhifhut Head drops from Hastatus XI-XII in Quicksand Caves. Enter from Western Altepa Desert (G-5) exit > Quicksand Caves Map 5.
- Now acquire a pickaxe. When you bring the items back to Peddlestox, she will mark the location of your treasure on your map. The location is different every time.
- The ??? will appear only once: that game day (Earthsday) from 4:00 to 20:00.
- The ??? now appears throughout Earthsday.
- The ??? will appear only if you are within a certain distance of it, and will disappear if you move too far away from it. The required distance is somewhere around 1-3 yalms (very close).
- The location that she marks on your map isn't exactly where the ??? will be found, but will be close by. Make sure your map is zoomed all the way in.
- The ??? will appear only once: that game day (Earthsday) from 4:00 to 20:00.
- Use the pickaxe on the ??? and you will randomly receive a treasure item that is not necessarily the item she said you could get. Possible treasure includes 3-5 of the following and 4,000 to 10,000 gil:
