Notes

  • Spawns during Thunder weather approximately every 21 hours; spawns around either F-8 to G-8, or I-7 to I-8 near the cermet spine.
  • Seems immune to Sleep, Bind, Blind, and Gravity.
  • Soloable by a Beastmaster level 34+
  • Can be killed at level 55+, depending on job.
  • Does not roam around like normal monsters; it stands in place (usually in between two Trees within its designated spawn area).
    • After it is attacked, it becomes mobile.

Translation

Dosetsu is Japanese for "Very Sharp" (度, Do) (切, Setsu). Literal translation: Very Sharp Tree.
