Elemental Spirits cast spells based on observable priorities:

• Casts Curaga III or Cure V if the HP of a party member is in the orange or red. It seems to favor this over Cure V at high levels, and often casts Curaga III on its Summoner even if the Summoner is solo.
• It can cast Curaga III or Cure V on a single party member whose HP is in the orange or red, even if Light Spirit is currently engaging a target.
• Not affected by its own Curaga spells.
• Cannot cure, enhance, or otherwise target itself in any way.
• Seems to have around 2170 MP at lv59.
• Possesses a light Regen effect.

Horizon Changes

• As of the Rebase Patch, Regen II was added to it's spell list, it can no longer cast Curaga IV, and it can no longer cast Curaga across Parties in an Alliance.

• At Lv. 75 and when not engaged with a target it's cast times are reduced and it's spell list (6 spells) is Haste, Protect IV, Shell IV, Regen II, Curaga III and Cure V.

• At Lv. 75 and when engaged with a target it's cast times are increased and it's spell list (10 spells) is Flash, Dia II, Holy, Banish III, and the 6 spells listed above.

• If not engaged and all party members have 50% or greater hp with haste, protect, shell and regen then LS will not cast spells.

• It will not try to cast Haste, Protect IV, Shell IV, or Regen II on a target that already has these buffs even if the buff is a lower tiered buff.

• If a Summoner is solo and has 50% or greater hp with Protect, Shell, and Regen the only spell that LS will cast on the Summoner is Haste.
