How to Obtain

Quest
- First, you must trigger the Divine Might quest:
- To do this, you must be on or past Zilart Mission 14 - Ark Angels.
- Then, go to the main entrance of the Shrine of Ru'Avitau (which is due north of the Hall of the Gods zone, in Ru'Aun Gardens).
- After zoning into the Shrine of Ru'Avitau, continue straight north and examine the unmarked target at the far end of the room. REMEMBER TO CHECK THE "BLANK" NPC MARKER TWICE. ONCE TO FLAG ARK ANGELS MISSION, THEN A SECOND TIME TO FLAG DIVINE MIGHT QUEST. YOU CANNOT OBTAIN ARK PENTASPHERE WITHOUT THIS STEP.
- Acquire one Bottle of illuminink and one Parchment. The Parchment may be purchased from the Auction House (under Materials > Leathercraft), but the Illuminink is not Auction House sellable, but can be sold or purchased in bazaar.
- The Illuminink and Parchment must be traded to the Qu'Hau Spring found at (H-6) in Ro'Maeve (and traded from its southern platform; the target is out of range from the northern platform) when the three following conditions are met:
- The moon must be full.
- The in-game time must be between 18:00 and 06:00.
- The weather is clear.
- After trading the items during the correct conditions, you will receive the Ark Pentasphere.
- Note: The spring fills every night during Full Moon at that game time but the effect changes when the zone weather becomes clear which is the main step to hold up getting the trade at the right time. Some Full Moons will not be possible to trade as weather can be bad that entire ingame season.
Follow the wiki Weather Forecast for best chance and time of clear weather while a Full Moon is up.
- The Ark Pentasphere can only be used once. Any attempts to use it again after a single use will result in a message stating "The Illuminink on the ark pentasphere has faded." So a failed attempt without a backup Ark Pentasphere from another source will mean you will have to reacquire another during the next Full Moon.
