Despite popular speculation that the city of Jeuno is built on a bridge, it is in fact built on a small island in the Straits and is links by bridges to the mainland on both shores of the Bastore Sea. There can be no other explanation for the tunnel that exists between Jeuno and Qufim Island, and this would also explain the recent reports of Moblin activity tunnelling under the city.
That being said, there are sections of the city that are, indeed, built on the bridge spans, and these would probably account for the original misconception of the entire city being on bridges. The city, built of stone for the most part, is cylindrical in design. The entire center core is taken up with the residential area, and is capped off with the Quadrangle and the Consulates in Ru'Lude Gardens. Around this center pillar are the stairways that connect each floor with those above and below and also connect the Mog House entrances with the respective floors. The floors themselves are in 4 layers, like a giant wedding cake!
